Graph matching on a SPARK LXi2 with a PASPORT Motion Sensor
An alternative to MatchGraph on your SPARK LXi2 if you have a Wired Motion Sensor (PS-2103)
How can I graph match on my LXi2?
MatchGraph Software is an intuitive way to teach motion graphing. Using PASCO sensors students can create graphs of their own motion that they can then analyze.
If you have the SPARK LXi2, you may have used Matchgraph on it, and found that your PS-2103 Motion Sensor was not detected by it. While the MatchGraph software on the LXi2 does not support the PS-2103 Motion Sensor, an alternative to using it has been made.
A SPARKvue workbook named "MATCHvue" has been created that seeks to recreate MatchGraph functionality within the SPARKvue software. This will allow you to get the same kinesthetic experience of graph matching with your current Motion Sensor hardware.
Notes for using MATCHvue
- Please note that as of now, this workbook will only open on the SPARK LXi2, and will not work on any other devices.
- An instructions/tips page is included on the first page of the MATCHvue workbook. It is recommended you read this carefully in order to get the most out of using it.
- You can transfer the workbook file to your LXi2 either via USB Flash Drive, or wirelessly using bluetooth as explained here.
