See how PASCO's Atmospheric Properties Chamber can be used in Chemistry, both to explore gas properties and to investigate gas reactions.
In the first part we look at gas properties, measuring pressure and temperature as the volume of gas decreases and then seeing the pressure change as more gas is added.
In the second part we investigate gas reactions, injecting air and then carbon dioxide gas into the chamber while monitoring any changes in pressure and in the pH of a beaker of water and indicator contained inside.
