The PASPORT Spirometer enables students to measure airflow, pressure, duration and lung volume.
- 2x Disposable Mouthpieces
See the Buying Guide for this item's required, recommended, and additional accessories.
Product Summary
The PASPORT Spirometer allows students to easily measure flow rate, pressure, and lung volume, making it perfect for human physiology courses. The mouthpieces are designed for single-student use and include exchangeable filters to maximize safety. The sensor safely and accurately measures both outward (expiration) and inward (inspiration) airflow. This sensor ensures hygienic use and prevents the inhalation of particulate matter with filters. Additional mouthpieces are available in convenient packs of ten.
Educational Use Only: This is not a medical device. PASCO product are designed for educational use only and should not be used in any apparatus involved with life support, medical testing, patient diagnosis, or industrial control/testing systems.
Important: Each Spirometer mouthpiece is for individual use only. Mouthpieces should not be shared between students to avoid direct surface contact and particulate infection from droplets that become trapped in the filter.

Experiment Library
Perform the following experiments and more with the PASPORT Spirometer.
Visit PASCO's Experiment Library to view more activities.
Volume of Breath
Students use a spirometer to investigate how the amount of air moving in and out of the lungs changes with exercise.
Volume of Breath (PASPORT sensors)
Use a PASPORT spirometer to explore the pulmonary function test (PFT) and the volume of breath. Note: This investigation has been updated for Wireless sensors in the Essential Biology lab manual (product number EB-6331)
