Extend your class compound microscopes to projectable teaching instruments using this microscope eyepiece camera and SPARKvue software.
- 1x 3.1 MP USB digital Camera
- 1x USB mini connection cable
Product Summary
General use digital 3.1 MP eyepiece camera fits in place of the eyepiece lens in most standard (23mm mount) body tubes. Enables your microscope to act as a critical teaching tool demonstrating microscope techniques, showing your class important cellular features before sending them out to find them on their own, capturing critical images for worksheets or assessments. Native digital file format chosen to specifically use together with SPARKVUE software so that once calibrated to known distance so any distances, areas or volumes in the field of view can be much better measured or estimated. Use together with the compound microscope (SE-6213) or whatever your school uses to make sure all students share in the experiences of exploring the microscopic world. Currently compatible only with SPARKvue software.

This single-page observation sheet can be used with impromptu digital microscope investigations. Attached appendices provide guidance on how to connect any compatible digital microscope to PASCO software and how to use image analysis...
Flower Dissection
Students use a digital microscope compatible with PASCO software to make qualitative and quantitative observations while dissecting a flower.
Comparing Plant and Animal Cells
Students use a digital microscope compatible with PASCO software to compare cheek cells and onion cells, then use their observations to determine whether other unidentified slide samples are composed of either plant or animal...
Exploring Pond Water
Students use a digital microscope compatible with PASCO software to observe and identify life forms in a sample of pond water.
Digital Microscopes and Slide Preparation (Compound Microscope)
Students learn how to use PASCO software to analyze images captured from a compatible digital compound microscope, and how to prepare dry and wet mount slides. Recommended for anyone new to digital microscopy.
