This highly visible elastic cord can be used to set up standing transverse waves, or pluck it to watch wave propagation. Approximately 3 mm diameter and 90 meters in length.
Applications
- Use with a Mechanical Wave Driver (SF-9324) to produce horizontal waves.
- Produce transverse waves by hand.
- Displace a mass haning from the cord for investigations of an oscillating mass on a “spring.”
