Ball Catcher for Rotation
This Ball Catcher for Rotation is designed to be mounted on the Rotating Platform (ME-8951) using ¼”-20 bolts and nuts. Then a one-inch steel ball can be launched from a Projectile Launcher (ME-6800) into the catcher, causing the platform to rotate for a Conservation of Angular Momentum lab.
In this complete set-up, a PASPORT Rotary Motion Sensor (PS-2120A) is attached to the rotating base using an A-Base Rotational Adapter (CI-6690) to measure the rotational velocity after the collision.
