90-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
We are confident that PASCO solutions will help your students achieve more success in science education. However, if you are not satisfied that your students are more engaged and learning more effectively, you may return your purchase for a full refund within 90 days of purchase. We do not want you spending precious budget dollars on something you won't use. Certain exceptions apply, such as software that has been opened, digital downloads, e-books, and radioactive sources. These items may not be returned for credit. See instructions for Returns at the bottom of this page.
5-year Warranty for Education
Unless otherwise stated, PASCO-branded products are covered by a 5-year limited warranty from ship date against defects in material and workmanship. The PASCO warranty does not extend to rechargeable batteries contained inside products or to any product containing a touch screen, products that have been subject to abuse, neglect, accident, and improper installation, or products that have been repaired or altered outside of our factory. Consumables and limited-life products (such as pH probes, ezSamples, membranes, fast-response temperature probes, alkaline batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, 9 Volt), chemical solutions, software, printed materials, etc.) are excluded from the 5-year warranty, but they do fall under the 90-day Satisfaction Guarantee. Product-specific and additional warranty information is available upon request.
Rechargeable Battery (2) Year Limited Warranty
PASCO warrants rechargeable batteries built into new products and replacement rechargeable batteries to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use for a period of (2) years from the date of purchase. It is normal for battery life, defined as the amount of time a device runs before it needs to be recharged, to decrease over time. This is not considered a defect in workmanship or materials. Please contact PASCO Technical Support for replacement battery information.
SPARK LX and LXi
The SPARK LX and SPARK LXi (products containing touch screens) carry a limited warranty for a period of 3 years from delivery date against defects in material and workmanship. This limited warranty applies only to hardware components of the SPARK LX and SPARK LXi that are not subject to accident, misuse, neglect, fire or other external damage. This warranty can also be voided by unauthorized use, alterations or repair.
Force Platforms
When used exclusively for Educational Purposes, all PASCO Force Platforms (PS-3229, PS-3230, PS-2141, & PS-2142) fall under the 5-Year Warranty for Education stated above. If used in athletic-related diagnostics and/or training (a non-educational application), all PASCO Force Platforms carry a limited warranty of 1 year from delivery date against defects in material and workmanship. This limited warranty does not apply to any PASCO Force Platforms subject to accident, misuse, neglect, fire or other external damage. Other restrictions apply per the "Designed for Education" section below, specifically "They should not be used in any apparatus involved with life support, patient diagnosis, or industrial control."
Designed for Education
Warranty Void Outside of Educational Use
PASCO products are designed for educational use only in K-12 schools, Colleges, and Universities; they are not intended for use in graduate research where higher degrees of accuracy and durability are required or for industrial use. They should not be used in any apparatus involved with life support, patient diagnosis, or industrial control. They should only be used in environments that facilitate learning in an educational setting.
Resale Products
PASCO offers a variety of resale products, defined as products manufactured and branded by anyone other than PASCO. They are subject to a 1-year limited warranty or per the conditions of the warranty provided by the resale manufacturer.
Recertified Equipment Warranty
PASCO-branded recertified products are covered by a limited warranty for a period of 3 years from delivery date against defects in material and workmanship. The PASCO warranty does not extend to any product which has been subject to abuse, neglect, accident, and improper installation or application, or products which have been repaired or altered outside of our factory.

Returns from the U.S.A.
Please obtain the required Return Material Authorization (RMA) prior to returning any product to PASCO (1-800-772-8700). RMAs for products being returned under our 90-day Satisfaction Guarantee or In-Warranty products will include an Electronic Return Label for free shipping. Out-of-Warranty products must be shipped prepaid. Returns for credit or exchange must be in new condition and packaged in original shipping cartons or packaging sufficient to prevent damage during transit.
International Returns
Please contact the authorized PASCO representative in your country for assistance in returning equipment for repair. PASCO’s International Customer Service team can be reached at +1-916-786-3800 or at custserv@pasco.com. Out-of-Warranty products must be shipped prepaid, door-to-door. Returns for credit or exchange must be in new condition and packaged in original shipping cartons or packaging sufficient to prevent damage during international transport.
